Reserve Police
About Us
100 Years of Volunteer Tradition
The Denver Police Reserve Unit is a group of civic-minded volunteers who serve
our community as uniformed officers in the patrol division.
Reserve officers work primarily with and under the supervision of a regular
police officer in a marked police car, responding to calls for service in one
of the department’s six geographic districts. Reserve officers also perform
traffic and crowd direction at special events.
