Stepping Up: Ending Domestic Violence in Denver is a special presentation from Denver 8 TV which focuses on solving this deplorable problem in our society.   Hear a poignant first-hand account as a domestic violence survivor shares her personal experiences.  Plus, learn what the City of Denver is doing to address domestic violence in the workplace, how victims can get help, and how you can help someone you suspect might be a victim

Also, while an individual can get out of an abusive situation and become a survivor, the problem of domestic violence will never be solved until both sides of the issue are addressed.  Denver 8 TV talked to AMEND (Abusive Men Exploring New Directions) to find out why some people become abusers and how they can get help.  This half hour special also features interviews with City of Denver and SafeHouse Denver representatives to explore how we can all help prevent domestic violence.
