Traffic Pay by Web Now Available

Denver County Court begins accepting credit card payments for traffic tickets online

The Denver County Court announced it will now begin accepting Visa and MasterCard payments online, effective May 4, 2009, for fines and fees related to certain traffic tickets.

Tickets for traffic infractions with a set fine amount can be paid online as long as there was no accident involved and the payment is made prior to the ticket’s listed court date.  Tickets that require a mandatory court appearance or which are past the court date cannot be paid online.

In order to provide this online service without adding additional general fund operating expenses to Denver’s taxpaying citizens, a nominal internet transaction fee of 2.5% will be added to all online payments.

Individuals who do not wish to pay the internet transaction fee may still pay in person at the court or one of its four satellite locations.

Online payments can be made seven days a week, 24 hours a day, by going to the Search County Court Records page, entering the ticket information, and following the prompts. Additional information can be found on the Traffic Pay By Web FAQs page, or contact the Denver County Court Traffic Division at 720-865-7840 for further assistance.
