WELCOME!

This Office collaborates and coordinates with Denver's diverse community-based organizations on various projects which promote the objectives and values of the Agency and which envision a more connected, cohesive and positive City. To accomplish this level of support with Denver's community this Office serves as a liaison between City government Offices and Agencies and Denver community groups and/or organizations by initiating contacts and providing technical assistance.

The Office of Community Support is currently working on the following priorities:

  • Support the Denver Coalition for Integration - a part of The Colorado Trusts' "Serving Immigrant and Refugee Families Initiative" (SIRFI) project in Denver and generally supporting integration for a greater Denver community.
  • Supporting Human Rights and Community Relations (HRCR) Commissions and Advisory Board, the Denver Asian Pacific American Commission, and the Denver African American Commission

"A Picture of Poverty" Report
The Agency for Human Rights & Community Relations devoted a year to researching the impacts and experiences of different communities living in poverty in the Denver area.

Our journey has taught us much about the challenges and barriers as well as opened our eyes to the strength and resilence of our city's residents.
