Career Advancement Resources Empowering Employees’ Rise to Success
The City and County of Denver recognizes that supporting individual career development is fundamental to the city's continued success. To make Denver a better place to work, the Career Service Authority, CAREERS Program provides opportunities for employees to continually grow and enhance their skills and experiences while continuing to support the organizations mission and vision. The purpose of career development is to:
- Enhance employees current and future performance
- Develop individuals for promotional opportunities
- Maintain a dynamic and effective workforce
- Pursue personal and professional development opportunities
The CAREERS Program will help identify skill-sets, career interests, work related values, and career paths that are available in the City and County of Denver. Additionally, the program will assist employees with becoming life-long achievers, apply new skill-sets and knowledge, opportunities for continuing education, and overcome the fear of risk-taking in order to achieve their personal and professional goals while supporting the work priorities of their agency.
