The Building Code for the City and County of Denver is based on the 2008 National Electrical Code, NFPA 72 and the 2006 Series of I - Codes.  They are:

2006 International Building Code

2006 International Energy Conservation Code

2006 International Fire Code

2006 International Fuel Gas Code

2006 International Mechanical Code

2006 International Plumbing Code

 

The Codes are amended to address the specific needs within the City and County of Denver.  The following are the 2008 Denver Amendments  to the adopted Codes.  

 

The Building Policies provide detailed descriptions of how to handle certain situations that are not clearly addressed within the Denver Amendments or within the current Codes.
