Welcome to the Better Denver Bond Program Website

Better Denver logo

The Better Denver Bond Program is a comprehensive effort to invest in our infrastructure; and to enhance and construct city facilities that touch our lives. In 2007, Denver’s citizens passed the ballot initiatives that established this program and its bond financing in order to make Denver better for everyone. Through this program, we are improving, preserving, renovating and building new roads, libraries, parks, hospitals, public safety facilities, cultural facilities and more. Over 290 projects are slated for design and construction.  The City of Denver is committed to delivering these projects in record time (4-5 years), so that most projects are completed by 2011.

Better Denver is enhancing our City’s quality of life. The Program has the added benefit of serving as a stimulus in this challenging economy. It is helping the City put people to work and is pumping millions of dollars into the local economy. Many companies are working on these bond projects, and this work opprotunity is significant given the relatively few opportunities in the design and construction sector at this time.
