The University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) has been involved on a contractual basis with the City and County of Denver (CCD) since February 15, 1998. Since that time, civil engineering students and professor Kevin L. Rens have been involved in a variety of projects related to inventorying and assessing CCD owned infrastructure such as Bridges, Alleys, and Curbs and Gutters.
