Second Public Workshop - Review of Draft Concept Plans
A second public workshop was held on Tuesday, May 6th at John Collins Church (2320 S. Bannock St.). Over 60 people attended.
The City presented the plan Vision and Objectives. Stay tuned on how you can give feedback on these.
The City also presented and received very helpful feedback on two Draft Concept Plans for the Evans Station Area. Based on input from the public, the best elements of the two Draft Concept Plans will be chosen and packaged together into a Preferred Concept Plan. This will be presented along with detailed plan recommendations at the third public workshop (tentatively scheduled for August 2008).
The Draft Concept Plans recommend various land uses that would help achieve the plan Vision and Objectives. Viewing photos of these Land Use Types as they exist elsewhere in Denver and in other cities will help you envision how they can help enhance the Evans Station Area's walkability, identity and sense of place.
