DO put your Auto Recycling Cart and Auto Barrel as
far in the street as possible - not behind snow banks

DO leave a 4’ space between barrel and recycling
cart allowing easy access by our trucks

DON’T - place containers where trucks will have to turn in to the snow bank to access them.  Instead place containers as far out as possible to clear the snow bank.

DON'T -allow cans or bags to be buried under the snow where they are not visible to the driver.

DON'T - place containers TOO CLOSE to each other - we need 4' of space between receptacles to allow the automated arms enough space to lift containers.

DON’T - use cardboard boxes to place trash in, especially in inclement weather.  The bottom will break easily making cardboard an unacceptable container for trash pick-up.

DON’Tplace cans behind snow banks where the trucks cannot access them.
