Application materials for a Certificate of Appropriateness
Instructions 
  • Complete the Design Review Application Form (Advisory 450, below) and submit it with the required supplemental materials. Refer to the supplemental checklists, below, for specific instructions on the materials you need to submit with your application.
  • Design review applications can be dropped off at the Records counter or at the permitting counter located at 201 W. Colfax Ave. on the second floor.
  • Applications can also be e-mailed to landmark@denvergov.org (PDF, jpg, or tif formats).

    The end result of an approved design review application is a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) that describes the conditions and nature of the work that was approved. The COA is required to be displayed or available on the job site at all times in a manner similar to a building permit.
