Food Peddlers
Food peddlers sell pre-packaged food, such as burritos, from an approved container and are required to keep moving after each sale. The food sold by a food peddler must be prepared in an approved licensed commissary kitchen. Labels are required on some food sold by food peddlers. The label must include the peddler’s business name, contact information, product name, list of ingredients, and the net weight. Food peddlers can buy pre made & pre packaged food from a licensed facility.

The requirements for operating as a food peddler are listed in Chapter 11 of the City and County of Denver Retail Food Establishment Regulations
