This group is responsible for inspection of facilities requiring Temporary Certificates of Occupancy (TCOs), Certificates of Occupancy (C/Os) and Business Licenses. These inspections ensure that facilities comply with the provisions of the Fire Code (as amended) allowing for the safe occupation by residents, employees and the general public.
Additional duties include responding to citizens' complaints and requests regarding Fire Code issues, providing a Fire Department liaison for new projects and addressing Fire Code issues at Denver International Airport.
