Area neighbors and the public are invited to attend a small celebration to mark the completion of the Hampden Heights Playground redesign and improvements. City Councilwoman Peggy Lehmann and Park Department representatives will be on hand to speak, and refreshments will be provided. The playground was redesigned, expanded and improved using Better Denver Bond funds. There are includes 2 new play areas, featuring with a Man in the Moon Celestial theme, new play equipment, a plaza, additional picnic tables, and new landscaping.
