Denver Animal Shelter – Groundbreaking Event

Location: 1271 W. Bayaud – Denver (off S Platte Drive –north of Alameda)
A groundbreaking for the new Denver Animal Shelter will take place - snow or shine - on Thursday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the site of the new facility (1271 W. Bayaud). Representatives from Denver Animal Shelter will join other city officials and staff, friends of the Animal Shelter, Better Denver Bond Program representatives, and members of the public and media to celebrate the start of construction of this new facility. The new shelter, made possible by Better Denver Bond funding, is anticipated to be complete in June of 2011.
