ARTS EDUCATION SUMMIT PICTURES FUTURE IN SCHOOLS
Arts Education Essential to Student Success
 Many parents are demanding more arts education opportunities for their kids. The Colorado Arts Learning Task Force endorses increasing the number and quality of arts learning opportunities for students as a means to achieve the fullest expression of creativity and innovation for Colorado in the 21st century.
The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, together with Colorado Council on the Arts, will present the Colorado Arts Education Summit on Saturday, June 16, 2007.

Coalition begins Community Conversations as part of “Denver Defines Integration” Project
 The Denver Integration Coalition will be holding four community conversations, “Denver Defines Integration,” in four quadrants of the city of Denver to elicit input from Denver residents and community stakeholders on integration for its Supporting Immigrant and Refugee Families Initiative plan. Events are free and open to the public. Food, child care and interpretation will be provided. |
