On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. 2009 Mayor’s Design Awards Announced
Mayor John Hickenlooper celebrated the growing number of Denver’s homeowners, small business owners and developers who have made design excellence a priority in their community at the fifth annual Mayor's Design Awards. The program honored 15 diverse projects that enhance the city.

Lanch Chance to LEAP this Season
through April 30 -The last day to apply for the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) for the 2007-2008 season is April 30, 2008.  LEAP helps people who qualify pay home heating costs or during heating related emergencies. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility.
