Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Denver Union Station Public Presentations Denver Union Station Public Presentations Denver is one of the partner agencies for development of Denver Union Station as a multimodal transportation center.  National landscape architecture firms will discuss their philosophy of design as it relates to the public spaces at Denver Union Station on June 4th.  You’re invited to attend the forum.   The four shortlist firms for public realm design services will present their qualifications, design philosophy and approach at a public forum on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.  The forum will be held at the Auraria Events Center (1255 10th Street Mall) on the Auraria Campus.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m.   Each firm will be allowed 20 minutes to present an introduction to their firm, the key individual(s) proposed to work on the project and a concise statement of the firm’s design philosophy and approach to the public realm at Denver Union Station.  Following each presentation, there will be a period of 15 minutes to respond to written questions from the community.   Parking is available in the Tivoli Parking Lot located off of 9th Avenue.   Questions?  Call 311 Posted on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 Return
