Best Spring Break Ever, Denver Art Museum Is Free for Kids
Family friendly festivities kick off on Saturday, March 22, through Sunday, March 30

Spring fever is in full swing at the Denver Art Museum (DAM) during its 2008 Best Spring Break Ever. The DAM is FREE FOR KIDS 18 and under, Saturday, March 22, through Sunday, March 30, 2008. During the festivities, the Museum will unveil special art-inspired activities for the entire family.

The Best Spring Break Ever program includes fun hands-on activities like Navajo weaving and games for kids and adults alike. Kids can sketch their favorite animal at the Sweet Tooth Studio, a roaming activity cart that gives kids a creative opportunity at every turn.

In Duncan Pavilion, children can design and create their own bugs, butterflies and other backyard critters creating an indoor garden – while mom and dad relax with a cup of Novo coffee.

The DAM’s everyday offerings for families are also available all week. Families can make postcards, pose on saddles, mix African music, dance in light bubbles and explore kid-sized nooks.
