Save Auto, Air and Law Illegal to Keep Cars Running Unattended As the temperatures outside drop this winter, we will unfortunately face getting into cold cars. Many drivers will be tempted to break the law and be “PUFFERS” (puffer n. an automobile left unattended and running in cold weather). Annual Veterans Day Parade Annual Veterans Day Parade Annual Denver Veterans Day Parade to be held Nov. 7 The City and County of Denver will host the annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2008 beginning at 10 a.m.   Prior to the parade, there will be a presentation of a Bronze Star for Valor to a fallen soldier’s widow. Immediately following the parade, there will be a tribute to fallen Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans from Colorado at the Colorado Veterans Memorial.   The parade has been held by the City and County of Denver since 1942.  It is organized by the City and County of Denver and the Denver United Veteran’s Council and will honor veterans and those in active military service.   Parade will start and end in Civic Center Park and will proceed down surrounding streets. A tribute to veterans will take place immediately following the parade in the park.
