Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Home Ownership Fair Home Ownership Fair “June” is National Home Ownership Month Denver Housing Authority Sponsors Local Event   We know how exciting—and sometimes stressful—it can be when you’re trying to buy your first home.  We also know that many Denver residents are struggling to make their house payments, in delinquency with their mortgage company or facing foreclosure. We are here to let you know that help is on the way!     “June” is National Home Ownership Month.  In order to help homeowners and those who want to become home owners, DHA is hosting a home ownership fair on Saturday, June 13th.  The fair will take place at the PPA center, which is located at 2105 Decatur street in Denver, running from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The best part is, it’s all free!  DHA will have finance and real estate professionals on hand, as well as housing and foreclosure counselors to teach you not only how to buy a home but how to hold on to the one that you’ve got.
