Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Mayor's Gala Ball 2008 Mayor's Gala Ball 2008 Mayor’s Gala Ball 2008         WHAT: Mayor’s Gala Ball 2008         WHEN: Friday, December 19, 2008                       7:00 pm-10:00 pm          WHERE: Westin Tabor Center                          1672 Lawrence St.                           Denver, CO                                                      This annual showcase of Denver’s ballroom dance talent, hosted by Denver Parks and Recreation, celebrates its 25th year in 2008. The Mayor’s Gala Ball is an event for adults all over the Metro Denver area to ring in the holiday season with a fun-filled evening. Attendees will dance the night away to music provided by the Dean Bushnell and a ballroom dance demonstration by Arthur Murray Dance Studios will start the evening.
