Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Energy Assistance Heating Fair Energy Assistance Heating Fair  Denver County LEAP Heating Fair Rising costs are impacting everyone! The great news is there is a program, called LEAP that provides a one-time benefit, per season, to people who qualify who need help paying some of their heat bill. We need your help letting people in the Denver community know about the program. To officially kick-off the LEAP season in Denver County, the Denver LEAP office will host a three day heating fair. During the fair, people can apply for LEAP assistance, obtain emergency assistance for shut-off’s, learn how to keep their home warm and lower their heating bill in the winter, and much more!
