Candidate Statement
After my time on the Statewide Parent Coalition, I felt I could make a more direct impact by representing my community in an official capacity, and I was honored to be elected four years ago. We’ve had successes, but there is still a lot of work to do. We brought together parents, teachers, the community, and the DPS administration to make West the most Innovative School in the district. We also passed a $454 million dollar bond, in part to help North. We need to improve early childhood education and work with colleges who train teachers for Denver..
