| Welcome to the Mayor's Office for Education and Children, Child Care Initiatives. The area of Child Care Initiatives (CCI) was established in 1985. In 2004, Mayor Hickenlooper launced his early childhood initiative, Invest in Success, with the vision to improve quality and access to early care and education for Denver's children. As part of the Mayor's effort, the mission of CCI is to advise the Mayor and City on child care issues in order to help the City take a leadership role in meeting the child care needs of families. Our work promotes quality early childhood education and care through collaboration and resource sharing with local early childhood partners. |
