In 1993, Denver initiated the Disability Parking Enforcement Program (DPEP). This program consists of volunteers who give their time and talents to enforce disability parking within the City of Denver.
In 2009, the Denver Office of Disability Rights (DODR) is revitalizing the program in an effort to recruit more volunteers.
The Right-of-Way Enforcement (ROWE) division will also begin to enforce disability parking laws in Denver’s private and public lots.
DODR
encourage all citizens of Denver to participate and help uphold our city’s disability parking law by joining this very viable program. For more information on Denver’s DPEP and the new disability parking ordinance visit
