
The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs (DOCA) will present the sixth annual
Latino Rhythms on Saturday, July 18, 2009. The event runs 4 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln Park, 11th Ave. and Mariposa St. Latino Rhythms highlights Latino music, dance and heritage. This
event is free and open to the public.
The 2009 list of
performers includes:
- Fiesta Colorado
- Rick Garcia Band
- Jazz del Barrio
- Sabor de la Calle
Latino Rhythms is fun for the whole family. Children’s activities will be provided by La Alma Recreation Center and Denver Parks and Recreation. The event will also feature food and community booths.
Free parking will be available on the Auraria Campus in lots H & L. Latino Rhythms is accessible by light rail, exit 10th Ave. and Osage St. Public transportation is encouraged.
