Bias Motivated Crime Section

The Denver Police Department is dedicated to protection of our citizens and visitors regardless of Race, Sex, Age, Ethnicity, Religion, or Sexual Orientation.  Therefore the Denver Police Department is proud to announce the development of its Bias Motivated Crimes Section, who will work in conjunction with the Assault Unit of the Crimes Against Persons Bureau.  With the implementation of this section we are able to provide investigators who have received specialized training in the investigation of Bias Motivated Crimes.  Far too Often Bias Motivated crimes go unreported due to the fear of retaliation, embarrassment, or fear the lack of Police response.  If you have been the victim of or witnessed any Bias motivated crime, please contact the Denver Police Department’s Bias Motivated Crime Section.
