The Court Service unit has the responsibility of maintaining security in the District and County Courtrooms in the City and County Building, as well as transporting prisoners within the Department and to and from other agencies within the Denver metropolitan area. Also encompassed within this division is the Civil Division (serving civil process).

Deputies assigned to this unit have responsibility to maintain a safe and secure environment within the entire building, for both the court personnel and the general public.
