The Denver Bar Association offers pro se (do it yourself) litigant clinics on the subjects of Small Claims and Collections. These clinics assist in the understanding of legal processes and forms. They do not provide explicit legal advice, nor will personnel directly assist in completing forms. Clinics are for informational purposes only, not legal advice. By law, personnel may not give legal advice. All clinics are in English.
SMALL CLAIMS CLINICS
Presented in cooperation with the Denver County Court Civil Division by volunteer attorneys of the Denver Bar Association
Volunteer attorneys provide information on filing a small claims case. Tips include gathering information; forms (where to get them, how to complete them); filing (how, where); defending your position (what to do and what not to do); and court procedures.
Small claims clinics will be held in the Denver County Court Civil Division, 1515 Cleveland Place, 4th floor, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates in 2008: January 15, February 19, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, August19, September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16.
If you have questions, please call 303-640-5161. Please allow 15-20 minutes to arrive and park. Parking is available in the Cultural Center Garage on 12th and Bannock for $1.00 per hour.
