- Metro Denver Wastewater Reclamation Board
Oversight of: policies and operations of the district. The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District is the wastewater treatment authority for most of metropolitan Denver. It is a large, stand-alone special district formed by the Colorado legislature in 1961 to provide wastewater transmission and treatment services to member municipalities and special connectors in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The board is overseeing the construction of the Northern Treatment Plant, a $430 million project. The plant will be located at the intersection of Highway 85 and 168th Avenue.

Oversight of: The Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau operations and contract with the City and County of Denver. The DMCVB is the official travel and visitor bureau of Denver.
