This Office collaborates and coordinates with Denver's diverse community-based organizations on various projects which promote the objectives and values of the Agency and which envision a more connected, cohesive and positive City. To accomplish this level of support with Denver's community this Office serves as a liaison between City government Offices and Agencies and Denver community groups and/or organizations by initiating contacts and providing technical assistance.

The Office of Community Support is currently working on endeavors to accomplish the following:

• Supporting Human Rights and Community Relations (HRCR) Commissions

• Serve as liaison for the Denver Sister Cities International organization.

• Support the Denver Integration Coalition - a part of The Colorado Trusts' "Serving Immigrant and Refugee Families Initiative" (SIRFI) project in Denver and generally supporting integration for a greater Denver community.

• Supporting the Westside Healthy Exercise and Nutrition (WHEN) effort which focuses on five West Denver Neighborhoods to improve the health behaviors of all residents.
