GIVE Denver, a human services organization, is designed to provide resources and services to Denver's underserved community through donations and with the help of volunteers.
We help foster children, the homeless, veterans, at-risk seniors, and families. Our mission is to help those who are underserved by:
- Connecting underprivileged families, referred by DHS staff, to neighborhood resources when they are denied government assistance, but still need help. Neighborhood resources include food banks, utility assistance, rental assistance and other lifeline resources;
- Providing basic necessity items to foster or kinship families that care for children, on a moment’s notice or to families in crisis. Those supplies might include diapers and formula or shampoo, soap, and other hygiene products;
- Running annual giving campaigns such as the Spring Gift Basket, School Supply, and Holiday Drives, which benefit foster children, homeless people, and other at-risk children and adults served by DHS;
- Managing the GIVE Denver Center.
GIVE Denver is supported primarily by donations and volunteers. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
