The Denver Revised Municipal Code Section 47-106 et. seq. requires a license for those who conduct charitable solicitation within the city. These ordinance provisions are interpreted to exclude nonprofit associations which solicit funds solely for their own use. Those who solicit funds for other charitable associations or uses must obtain a license pursuant to Article IV, Sec. 47-106 et. seq.
