Directions:  The Excise and Licenses office is located on the 2nd floor  (Room 2.H.9) in the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building which is located
on the corner of 14th and Bannock Streets.  The office is just north of the City and County Building and north of Civic Center Park at Colfax Avenue. Office hours are: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Department of Excise and Licenses which includes Business Licenses, Liquor Licenses, and Burglar Alarm Permits will be closed on Friday, May 9th, and Monday, May 12th, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM for training.
 
Please plan your trip to Excise and Licenses accordingly.

For faster service and if you are required to get a CBI Background Check, you can download and print one out.  You will need to go to the CBI site, click on the following  link :                   CBI Background Check,
follow the instructions, have a credit card available ($6.85 charge),  and print out the report.  Make sure that you bring it along with you when you come in for your license application.
