The Denver Commission on Aging has three Committees:
Communications: The Communications Committee creates and maintains a Communication Plan for the Denver Commission on Aging. The Communication Plan consists of education and awareness materials through various marketing methods. The Committee is charged with gathering and preparing information on "messaging/branding" the Commission.
Outreach/Partnership: This Committee identifies community sites to communicate senior issues and concerns. The Committee is also charged with delivering the Commission's talking points, interacting with various audiences (senior groups, providers, volunteers, etc.), asking pertinent questions that can inform the Commission and the City of Denver about its older adult population.
Advocacy- The Advocacy Committee links and partners with the City and County of Denver and state advocates to increase awareness of senior issues and legislation.
