Shelly Lesnansky - Operations Manager 911
I moved to Denver when I was ten and currently live in the City and County. I graduated from Colorado State University with a BS degree in ICM and transitioned to the world of 911 in 1987.  I started my career with the City and County of Denver, in January 1990 as a Police Dispatcher for Denver Police Department, after working two and half years for Thornton PD as a police, fire and EMS dispatcher.  During my tenure at Denver 911 I have worked as a Police Dispatcher, Lead Dispatcher, Administrative Analyst, System Administrator and now as one of the Operations Managers overseeing the 911 Operations for Denver 911.  I am excited to say that Denver 911 is equipped to handle your call for service.

I was once asked by a Division Chief why I came to work for Denver and my answer still holds true today, "... because it is the biggest and the best.  I can learn more here and help millions along the way!"

Ernest Franssen - Operations Manager Dispatch
I am a Colorado Native and  I began my dispatching career in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, while serving as a Military Police officer in the Army.  That experience led to my career as a Denver Police dispatcher in December of 1995.   While working the graveyard shift at Denver 911, I went back to school at Metropolitan State College of Denver where I receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and in Journalism.   In April of 2007, I was the second civilian promoted to 911 operations supervisor.   I am proud to be working with such a great command staff and a great group of people who always place their customer’s needs first.
